Sichere Verbindungen über Schraubklemmen, Optokoppler an den Eingängen und Betrieb mit 12–24 V (empfohlen: 24 V) machen die Steuerung ideal für den Schaltschrankeinbau. Die Estlcam-Software erstellt Fräsdaten und steuert die Maschine – eine zusätzliche CAM-Software ist nicht nötig. Die Firmware wird einmalig bei der Inbetriebnahme per USB übertragen.

Secure connections via screw terminals, optocouplers on the inputs and operation at 12–24 V (24 V recommended) make the control ideal for cabinet installation. The Estlcam software creates milling data and controls the machine – no separate CAM software needed. The firmware is transferred once during commissioning via USB.

Für die verbreitete Bauform mit durchgehender Y-Welle oder einem mittig angetriebenen Portal ist der Classic die natürliche Wahl. Autosquaring bietet er nicht – bei mechanisch sauber rechtwinklig stehenden Maschinen wird es schlicht nicht gebraucht.

For the common design with a continuous Y shaft or a centrally driven gantry the Classic is the natural choice. It does not offer autosquaring – on machines that are mechanically square it simply isn't needed.

Einfache Lasergravur als Zweitnutzung

Simple laser engraving as a second use

Wird ein Lasermodul ergänzt, übernimmt der PWM-Ausgang die Leistungssteuerung für einfache Gravuren. Für gelegentliche Beschriftungen reicht das aus, ohne dass eine zweite Steuerung nötig wird.

If a laser module is added, the PWM output handles power control for simple engraving. For occasional marking that is enough, without needing a second control.

Wiederbelebung einer eingelagerten Maschine

Reviving a shelved machine

Viele gut gebaute Fräsen stehen nur wegen einer ausgefallenen Steuerung still. Der Classic bringt sie mit überschaubarem Aufwand zurück in Betrieb – Verdrahtung an die Schraubklemmen, Firmware per USB, fertig.

Many well-built mills sit idle only because of a failed control. The Classic brings them back into service with manageable effort – wire to the screw terminals, firmware via USB, done.

Für Platinen-Bohrbilder oder Diamantstichel-Gravuren genügt die solide 3-Achs-Ansteuerung des Classic vollkommen; der Spindelausgang schaltet dabei zuverlässig das Werkzeug frei.

For PCB drill patterns or diamond-drag engraving the Classic's solid 3-axis control is entirely sufficient; the spindle output reliably enables the tool.

Reicht der Classic für meine Maschine?

Is the Classic enough for my machine?

Wenn du drei Achsen, eine Spindel und ein paar Endschalter betreibst, lautet die Antwort fast immer ja. Erst wenn zwei getrennte Y-Antriebe (Autosquaring) oder viele Sensoren ins Spiel kommen, solltest du zum M oder XL greifen.

If you run three axes, a spindle and a few limit switches, the answer is almost always yes. Only once two separate Y drives (autosquaring) or many sensors come into play should you move up to the M or XL.

Wozu die Status-LEDs?

What are the status LEDs for?

Die grüne LED bestätigt die Versorgung, die roten zeigen die Relaisausgänge. Im Fehlerfall siehst du auf einen Blick, ob ein Ausgang schaltet – das spart bei der Inbetriebnahme das Messgerät und viel Zeit.

The green LED confirms the supply, the red ones show the relay outputs. If something goes wrong you can see at a glance whether an output is switching – saving the multimeter and a lot of time during commissioning.

Welches Netzteil passt?

Which power supply fits?

Empfohlen ist eine stabile 24-V-Quelle; 12 V funktionieren ebenfalls, 24 V sind aber störfester. Achte darauf, dass das Netzteil auch die Endstufen mitversorgen kann.

A stable 24 V source is recommended; 12 V also works, but 24 V is more noise-resistant. Make sure the supply can also feed the motor drivers.
